What to bring to your first day or night of curling
Clean shoes that remain grippy in the cold; (good clean running shoes), a curling broom, warm clothes (sliders provided by the club).
The Curling Association recommends that young curlers wear helmets; the ice is HARD.

Our new defibrillator is hooked up & ready to go. The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada provided us with the AED (automated external defibrillator) & training materials. The training session on Mon.Mar.14 was attended by 9 club members & was also funded by the HSF. There are also other club members familiar through work or other organizations with the use of an AED. Although we hope not to have to employ our AED in an emergency, it gives us security to know it is available & ready to use.
